I have listened to S&S for four years now and loved it. Kevin is warm and friendly and brings great guests. I got to know lots of managers and show runners based on their extended interviews. Kevin gives you the opportunity to ask your questions from the guests. One of the best podcasts out there about screenwriting.
This podcast fills a crucial niche into the business side of screenwriting that is so often overlooked or minimized. Kevin consistently guides the conversation with industry insiders to a depth that humanizes those he interviews and provides clear-eyed tools for the emerging writer to move forward. Thank you, Kevin.
The questions the host asks are so insightful and spot on. I listen to a lot of podcasts about the industry and writing and they all pale in comparison. I’m floored by how incredible it it. Truly. I’ve learned SO much.
It’s nice hearing reps talk about writing from their perspective. Feels more useful for those trying to break in than how to write advice.
Scripts and Scribes is the best podcast out there for aspiring screenwriters. Period. The information gleamed from Kevin's interviews has provided me with invaluable insight into the inner workings of the industry and has gotten me many read requests from notable managers and producers. Highly recommend it for those serious about pursuing a career as a screenwriter in Hollywood.
