Why oh why oh why would the parents go to the POLICE and get a religious “guru” who obviously LIED to deradicalise an ASD child.     How is it possible that police are not under the same rules as the education system where they make reasonable adjustments for a person with a disability? The treatment of this teen and his parents is utterly abhorrent and appalling. I hope this is being referred to the Disability Commissioner, Human Rights Commission and that they take the AFP to court.
