Andrew Ross Sorkin has been interviewed by everyone and their mother since his poorly-reviewed (by his own employer) book came out. Why would you do the same thing that everyone else is doing to launch a new podcast with the limited resources PBS has? Press release promotional journalism is so boring. This could have been an opportunity to start something different.

I just read Andrew’s book 1929 and I loved it—for exactly what he was trying to convey with the players in NY AND DC and the details of these times. The stories are amazing, well written and enlightening! Loved the book and the interview. Amna sounded like she had the same reaction that I did to the book.
