Wendy is a pretty good interviewer and I love getting to know other artist stories. But SOOOO tired of Wendy ranting about Instagram and algorithm changes. Girl change happens. Adjust.
You obviously have not seen the millions of artists on the Youtube community.
Not EVERYTHING is on Instagram and many artists are leaving it.
Wow, art and life…such great talks! Filled with humor, humbleness, and awesome art talk. Love love love it all. Can’t put how I feel into words so I’ll shut up…love it! I’m listening to you and Yetunde. There was so much information I am listening for a second time.
I loved listening to this Podcast. You ladies talked about so many wonderful topics. You are two dynamic women! I did not want the discussion to end. Barb, I was inspired by your journey and all that you offer for your community. I have long loved the artistic creativity and the soft feel of the age old making of quilts. Wrapping myself in a hand created quilt was like a giant hug. I tried cutting and making quilts but lost patience. Instead I used to watercolor paint large images on watercolor ... more

Wendy, you’re such a great listener. Only very special people excel in that area. And then … you ask the exact question I’m thinking about. Kudos to you on a great podcast and for keeping on keeping on!
I listened to your podcast with Sarah. It made me feel absolutely horrible. I am so angry and resentful. I feel personally attacked. Making a podcast just to call people out is awful. I recommend you do some work on your white privilege and microaggressions and consider taking Loretta Ross’s online class on calling in vs. calling out. I wish you well.
I love Wendy’s style & her passion for “making”. She has great guests with insightful questions which make for a wonderful podcast
I really enjoy listening to the artists and learning about how they think and create. Fascinating topics! The only thing that bothers me is the host’s habit of constantly interrupting the guests, often mid-sentence.
I so enjoyed your podcast with Marie! Since I can relate to feeling under pressure to DO all the art. I especially appreciated you saying you don’t have to do ALL the classes. I really enjoy Wanderlust 2021 but I have only done 14 of them and felt like I wasted money and was a bit of a failure. But it made my heart lighter when you reminded me what a bargain the classes are! So true! And if you only do or get something out of some of them it’s still a bargain and we’ll worth it. Thank you Wend... more
First off, WOW! I love getting to know you both. Your brutal honesty and vulnerability about yourselves is your super power, second only to your creative spirits. Fodder School is looking better and better! Great podcast!
Sitting in my junk room listing to this podcast surrounded by stacks of paper, vintage books, glue sticks and paint, I discovered I am not alone in this predicament. Thanks Wendy, now keep going, don’t stop!
Any technical issues are completely overshadowed by the content. I have been introduced to so many great creatives through this podcast. My Instagram feed is now the most beautiful thing out there filled with all their wonderful art. Seriously inspiring podcast!
Wendy, don’t change a thing!❤️
Best art podcast I’ve heard in a LONG time! Great interviews, good conversation, awesome guests - approachable, real. Wendy has a gift. If you love mixed media, drop what you’re doing and listen to this right now.
