This is one of the only shows that does a nicely written tight format spooky story show. The writing is great, the voice reads are top notch. The only thing that is really bad about the show is the listener story format. McLeod is terrible at a cold read, the listener writers are second rate uninteresting. The acting and writing are so much fun! And then it’s even more of a delight to hear the history and thoughts of both Brian and MacLeod! My 7 year old and I repeatedly listen to episodes. Also, agnostic narwhal, skeptical gecko, and believer beaver are now part of our daily jargon! A truly fun podcast that is cozy and exciting! Definitely a favorite podcast!
