Great banter between two witty co-hosts, keeping listeners informed of the latest developments in worldwide (not just mainstream Hollywood) animated film. Providing near-constant, on-the-ground coverage of many of the biggest European animation festivals, they consistently manage to score interviews with established industry giants (Glen Keane, Bill Plympton, Joanna Quinn, etc.) as well as up-and-coming indie talent. In addition, listeners are treated to their day-to-day adventures, and mishaps,... more
2015 Update: I attended my first Skwigly live event which screened films, had a Q&A with Ainslie Henderson and also had beer and snacks available too, great to network with many like minded people and make new friends.
The podcast's have gone from strength to strength with even more brilliant interviews with directors of blockbuster animated feature films now (alongside your favourite indie short creators) and behind the scenes and upcoming production discussions.

I love what they have to say because it is not just about British animation or the animation that they are producing. They are very knowledgable about animation, animation tecniques, and have a great chemistry with their interviewees. They can banter with eachother and head off on tangents but it is never a dull moment with these two. I just wish it was a weekly podcast as ... more
