I’ve been an Elvis Costello fan since buying “My Aim is True” while in High School in the seventies. I’ve read a multitude of magazine articles and books about Mr. McManus, but no one luxuriates in his magnificent lyrics as well as the wonderful Remedy. It’s a slow drag I highly recommend. And, like Elvis’ work itself, the pod feels all the richer with every re-listen.
Interesting and Fun
Remedy is that best friend I needed all through high school and college who’d get together and deconstruct our most favorite songs. What a gift!
Remedy is a gifted individual who peels back the lyrical content of Mr. Costello’s songs. I’m always fascinated by what she brings to light and now look at these songs in new ways.
A wonderful companion for any linguistics and poetry fan. Essential for writers and poets alike.
