I understand everyone needs to make money, but it’s to the point in this latest 25th season that it’s hard to follow the stories. how sad
This show is amazing. Some seasons shine more than others but every topic is SO important regardless of individual interests. I love the way tiff pops in to give information and then lets the survivors shine. And for everyone complaining about the adds: skip them and move on. Podcasters need to make a living to. Tiffany explained that when she left Wondery after bezos bought it. They shouldn’t work for free just because we don’t want to hit the skip button.
The first few seasons consist of personal narratives from single viewpoints of women who experienced domestic violence, then women who were part of a group who were deceived by a “friend” masquerading as a male member of the group.
Later episodes widen their scope to describe group homes for troubled youth where parents send their children in a last-ditch attempt to “reform” girls with behavioral problems.

I was enthralled by the story wanted to hear every word but every time I got Into the story, there were so many commercials. I just got frustrated.
