This was the best Olympic companion piece from start to finish. I loved the little extra insights, trivia and tidbits I listened every day to get the wrap up on anything I might have missed and to get a heads up on what to look forward to the following day. Please, please come back for winter 2026!
This is one of those rare times I am happy the Twitter algorithm exists or else I never would have found this podcast. Really wish it could continue through the Paralympics and hoping it comes back for 2026!
Found this podcast through Twitter one day for the 2024 Olympics. Saw sports illustrated and did not have the highest expectations. But I’ve really been blown away with the coverage of not only the Olympics sports but sports takes in general. Both podcasts are really good and eligible about what they are talking about. Would love to have them plug more of what they are doing to keep following after the Olympic Games. Keep up the good work.
This is a daily joyride and a must listen for anyone with an appreciation for the Olympics. Mitch and Gart are pros, and somehow pack in so much info, reporting, and trivia about every single event without feeling dense or overwhelming. Their excitement over the best that sport has to offer across lesser-known disciplines makes for a super fun community vibe, and I love that they encourage listeners to contribute!
These two guys have obviously put in a massive amount of work in preparation for their daily podcasts. I’ve been listening to each episode being informed and entertained by Mitch’s enthusiasm. Yet they’re both great!
Kudos and keep’em coming.
