  • A Great Conversation

Honestly, used to be more interesting. The time wasted in the beginning of the show should be used to give more time to the guests…

  • Well intended, but ….

No question that God’s grace needs to proclaimed from the hilltops. Unfortunately, when it’s done outside the law / gospel paradigm it’s often difficult to fully grasp and sometimes (erroneously) gives the impression that antinomianism is being advocated. I listened to this program for a few years and it wasn’t until I heard some Lutherans explain both law and gospel that I was able to fully grasp what God”s grace really is / means. Better off listening to some of the podcasts from 1517.org

  • Grace... once you get that, then your free!

I love hearing his voice, it’s like the grandpa I never had sitting on a rocking chair telling me about life.

But the thing is Steve and his fellow hosts share with everyone the message of Jesus unashamedly and unapologetically that His love frees us new everyday and in every way. If I screw it up it is ok, I am a brother to the King. The crew on this show don’t go around making me feel they are holier than though - they are fallible like me. I love that about this show.

It is great too that... more

I still feel sometimes like a little boy whose nose is pressed against the glass, watching a party on the other side, but I have developed a sense of God's grace.

Q: Can you provide a practical way to deal with negative thoughts?
By consistently using scripture as a mantra against anxious thoughts, one can take those thoughts captive and reduce their power.
