Trite, uninteresting, juvenile fodder (and genuinely a squick-worthy turnoff).
Look, I never want to write a harsh review - I *want* to find terrific, engaging podcasts. People put time and effort into these, and I respect that effort. This is not one of those podcasts.
It might appeal to 12-year old BtVS fans, but not me. *shrugs*
Two stars because I’ve heard worse (and for the general effort).

Honestly, the whole ‘oh the vampire grooming the younger sister so he can have sex with her when she’s older’ aspect is really awful and literally pedophilia. They frame him as a person who just likes sex when he’s a literal sexual predator and it’s played as a joke.
Also they don’t know how to write women at all, make homophobic and fatphobic jokes AND have a really anti-Semitic depiction of a Jewish man.

I love discovering an author who has written loads of books. I read the first one and I love it. The feeling I get from knowing I have dozens more books to read is the same feeling I got when I had listened to the first friend of the family.
There is nothing I don’t like about this comedy horror podcast. The voice acting, the stories, everything is top notch. Also, I love Asmodeas, he’s one of my favorite characters ever.

This podcast is a prime example of why elocution should still be taught in schools: the voice actors constantly mumble and mispronounce words. It's very frustrating. Additionally, it's poorly produced, with inappropriate or no background music, and when the monsters speak, it's almost impossible to understand what they're saying due to poorly executed speech distortion.
