My favorite way to learn Hebrew—and I’ve tried MANY!! Thank you Guy!!
I’m in my first semester of Hebrew. I like that this podcast is directing and improving my listening skills, and high you can’t learn in books. I appreciate all of the snippets from songs, shows, advertisements, etc of the words being used in modern culture. Thank you!
Fun and interesting. Bite-size Hebrew insights.
Discovered this podcast and am now addicted. So good to not only discover idiomatic use of the language but to have it put into its grammatical context. Using all the clips from pop songs, tv show adverts et al really show you how the language is used. It is also helpful when Guy repeats and translates some of the phrases as it can be hard to get it all 1st time from the different media used. A really fantastic and entertaining resource. Thank you so much.
I have done group ulpan and private ulpan and this podcast is by far the best way I have found to learn the Hebrew that I need. Guy is entertaining and timely and covers vocabulary and grammar and accent improvement. Just listening to the podcast is entertaining and edifying, but he also gives resources that allow you to sit with the podcast for longer if you want to and continue to learn. I can’t recommend this podcast highly enough for anyone who wants to improve their Hebrew!
