I remember watching this show with my mom as reruns on Lifetime. (I’m 39 now.) So, listening to these episodes is pure nostalgia for me, and I appreciate how the hosts explore the topics’ relevance to their original air dates and now. Thanks, ladies—always enjoyable and interesting.

Listening to this podcast makes me feel like I’m having lunch with good friends. I really appreciate their deep dives, sidebars, nibbles, and extra sugars on topics that range from the fun and frivolous to the serious and thought-provoking. They strike a great balance which keeps me listening week after week.
Synopsis: two millennials who were one year old when this classic and revered show debuted attempt to dissect its cultural contributions. Yeeeeah…I could only make it through the first twenty-five minutes of the first episode. Not only is their commentary vapid and just plain wrong on some plot points and historical mentions, if I heard these two refer to the character of Charlene as “Sharlene” one more time, I was going to drown my iPhone in a pitcher of sweet tea.
