A juvenile heavily biased perspective on a historic event of ongoing importance. An analysis of the moral issues of not using the Bomb might have provided some much needed balance. Might I suggest Emily should be proud rather than ashamed of her Grandfathers and his generations legacy? The BBC’s balanced approach these days is becoming a parody!
The story of creating the atomic bomb has no alternative but to be a fascinating story. This podcast tells the story in in just that way.

Part one was good and recommended. The second season, however…
When making a podcast in multiple parts, I expect it to be a link between them (which is not presented) . Listening to part two right after part one confuses me and I find it hard to understand the timelines and the links between the different stories told.
Series 1 is a message of guilt by the narrator and an anti-nuclear agenda wrapped in the guise of a documentary. I was disappointed by the lack of impartiality given this was produced by the BBC. 2 stars due to there being some interesting factual information amongst the agenda.
Historically very interesting, unfortunately told by self centered millennials that think these stories revolve around them.
