103- Eden Shabtai: Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Jennifer Lopez, Doja Cat
Q: What makes you want to work with dancers again?
It's all about energy. I prefer to work with nice people over talented divas. Skills are important, but a positive attitude and quick adaptability are vital.
103- Eden Shabtai: Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Jennifer Lopez, Doja Cat
Q: What changed your mindset from being a dancer to a choreographer?
I choreographed since I was a little kid. I always wanted to see people doing my choreography. I decided around age 30 to focus purely on choreographing instead of also auditioning.
105 -Lindsey Blaufarb: The Voice, The Masked Singer, AGT, Pentatonix & Avril Lavigne
Q: How did you get chosen for choreographer and creative director for The Voice?
Akamon, a legendary choreographer, brought Craig and I onto the show to be part of Team Usher, where we worked as performance producers and choreographers.
105 -Lindsey Blaufarb: The Voice, The Masked Singer, AGT, Pentatonix & Avril Lavigne
Q: What advice would you give a dancer that doesn't have the relationship with you or another choreographer?
Keep your eye open for master classes and events, and don't hesitate to reach out via DM to express your interest to work with them.
104 - Dytto - Viral “Barbie Girl” (World of Dance), Assistant Choreographer for Shakira, & Ellen Alumi on Freestyle, Branding, and Building a Career
Q: Did you ever second guess yourself? Did you ever want to change your personality?
I definitely second guess myself, and I was scared of being seen as cooler as a dancer than I am in real life. However, I've realized that being genuine and embracing my true self is much more fulfilling than trying to fit into a mold.
