Reviews

4.2 out of 5 stars from 16 ratings
  • Sigh

Unfortunately having to give one star as a podcast claiming to be about the business side of the industry raised the possibility of Kenny Omega leaving AEW for Impact. The equivalent of suggesting Leonardo Dicaprio may decide to only make movies for The Asylum going forward! Very foolish.

272 - Gavin Bridge, the former Senior Media Analyst for Variety
Q: What do you think are some of the major media disruptions, stories, things that are happening?
Gavin mentions the use of AI in content creation and the potential for voice search adoption as significant disruptions that could impact discoverability in the media landscape.
270 - Author, News Editor, and aspiring Wrestler, Julia Kirk
Q: What is next for you? What do you like? What's the plan? What's the goal? What are you going to be doing?
So right now, it's still definitely heavy, you know, weightlifting, strength training, and the hope and plan is to start in a pro wrestling school next January.
270 - Author, News Editor, and aspiring Wrestler, Julia Kirk
Q: What did you like the most going back and watching? What stood out the most to you as far as like, wow, I'm gonna start watching this more often now?
Learning how it actually worked and the wrestling psychology was just so fascinating that I had to keep watching.
270 - Author, News Editor, and aspiring Wrestler, Julia Kirk
Q: So where did you grow up and where were you a fan or were you a fan growing up?
I grew up in Springboro, Ohio around Dayton. I actually did not become a pro wrestling fan until last year, the 2025 Royal Rumble.
267 - Writer Alison Lynn Miller of 'Rough House'.
Q: What challenges did you encounter while finding a publisher for your book?
I faced many polite rejections because wrestling fans are often stereotyped as non-readers, but the right publisher eventually recognized the depth of my story.
