  • Exactly what I needed!

I was on the lookout one day for a podcast about both Christianity and Feminism and I was so happy to find this podcast!

The wonderful hosts talk about relevant Christian and Feminist texts with gusto and I look forward to each and every episode.

  • Really good content but the delivery could use work

Some great topics and knowledgeable people. Perhaps you could spend some time reviewing the questions in advance so it doesn’t feel so choppy...like you’re just now thinking of the answers on the spot.

  • Cool topic, boring execution

Was really interested to listen, since most perspectives of one these 2 identities exclude the other. I just find the discussions really boring for the most part (too academic, not conversational), episodes long, and sometimes the quality being recorded over the phone is pretty bad. Will continue to listen (I’m only on episodes from 2015) in hopes it improves.

  • Interesting topics, needs editing

I listen to this because they choose topics I’m super interested in, and I’ll keep checking to see what they talk about each week. Like other reviewers have said, though, the hosts and contributors need to tighten up the conversation dramatically. If the speakers have good points, they get buried in filler words, rambling, and just general lack of focus — which make most episodes really dull. Honestly, it sounds like these speakers have never heard the discussion questions before recording time ... more

  • Interesting content but somewhat dry

The hosts are very knowledgeable and bring thoughtful insights to a variety of topics, from literature to academia to pop culture. The format they have chosen is something like a panel, with each host taking their carefully-portioned allotted time to speak, which serves its purpose but limits authentic discussion. I would enjoy more banter and true discussion, even if it resulted in more cross-talk. My favorite episodes are the ones when they break away from the "Panelist #3, now it's your turn"... more
