We all know Siri can be frustrating, but Dave has a story about shoveling snow and trying to use Siri at the same time that had me laughing. I probably should feel bad about it, but it was just too good. More news from Mark Gurman this week on Apple'... more
There is a massive snowstorm on the horizon for much of the U.S. east coast and even in the center of the country this week. Dave and I are getting prepared. Rumors of Apple's new Siri and chatbot are still swirling around—we take a look at some of t... more
Dave has been taking a CPR course, probably something we all should know how to do, and he tells us a few things he's learned. Apple this week expanded their services business by offering a new Creator Bundle for a monthly subscription. Dave also got... more
If you have a Vision Pro, Apple put you courtside at an LA Lakers game this week, which must have been quite an experience. It's time for CES and this year there are a lot of doorbells and doorlocks. Dave and I talk about CES and dig into some specif... more

This used to be a great podcast. It’s still called the Dalrymple report with only Jim’s name on it. But Dave does most of the talking and Jim just phones it in. Mostly he just grunts and says and let’s hear from our sponsor.
There are no insights anymore through Jim’s connections and expertise. He doesn’t even use any of Apple’s new stuff to have a view on any of it.
Unsubscribed.

Another update on this beclowned podcast. When will Jim jetison this Dave Mark. Today he went on and on about the Baltimore bridge collapse with an emotional overprint. What does this have to do with Apple? I don’t care what this joker thinks about the bridge just because you drove over it a few times. I keep coming back to this podcast hoping has either removed the Dave Mark infestation or at least reined him in. I just get angry. I want to hear from Jim, but he just lets the other guy just dr... more
Knowledgeable Apple superuser and pundit Jim Dalrymples weekly conversation with his friend - who couldn’t be less knowledgeable or experienced. Jim is 5/5. Dave is 0/5. Seriously, Dave just rambles on about things he has read about but has no experience with - or worse - has failed to dig into with any effort. So basically this clown just reads headlines about things and then spouts off random incorrect things. If you have any background knowledge about the topic you’ll be pulling you... more
Jim is great but has no business having his own podcast as he never speaks for more than 10% of the show. Dave, OTOH, babbles incessantly. I keep trying the show every few months but nothing has changed and listening to Dave is just cringy.
