  • Love the show!

This is a fun show to listen to while I’m working or at home.

One thing I’d love to hear more is content geared toward warm water fishing. Bass, panfish, striper, gar, and more. I love far off destinations, but there’s also an immense amount of fishing destinations closer to me to be more relatable.

    Keep it up!

  • My Go To

I’ve been a fishing guide in the Adirondacks for over 20 years and more recently a registered Maine Fishing Guide. Destination angler is the first podcast I go to when in the mood to listen about fishing. Great shows. Keep up the good work.

Grizzlies, Sheefish, and Alaska's Brooks Range with Kevin Fraley
Q: What is the best time for fishing for sheefish?
August and September are optimal for targeting sheefish when they are congregating to spawn.
Grizzlies, Sheefish, and Alaska's Brooks Range with Kevin Fraley
Q: What do you love about the Cobuck River?
The fishing, the remote setting, and the uniqueness of the river are what make it special.
Public Lands on the Line with Chris Wood, CEO of Trout Unlimited
Q: What do you say to the people that say, hey, we need roads in these roadless areas for fire mitigation?
You already can do hazardous fuel treatments in roadless areas without building roads, and in fact, most of the hazardous treatment has already occurred there without needing road access.
Public Lands on the Line with Chris Wood, CEO of Trout Unlimited
Q: What kind of an impact could it have had if they started selling off public land?
It could lead to the loss of access to many essential cold water fisheries and prime fishing locations, ultimately privileging wealthier individuals who could restrict access to common resources.
Bears, Rattlesnakes, and Triple Digit Days on Big Pine Creek with Ethan Albright
Q: If you could pay it forward to anyone, what would you do?
I would love to teach kids or beginners how to fly fish, just like I was taught when I was younger.
