  • Dump Jim

Rick, Charles, and others put on a very informative show. I absolutely love this show, but Jim Garrity is a disaster. He believes that that ICE agents killed the Good lady just for protesting. Jim is a coward who could never wear a military or enforcement uniform. He was good with Will Smith assaulting Chris Rock for saying something, but doesn't want ICE agents enforcing the law. Jim is one of those cowards who is so insecure that they lash out at people who do things he could never do. While J... more

  • Update- Jim, bring back the Trump voice [Great show, but MBD detracts]

Jim- don’t be cowed by Trump worshipers. Your impression of Trump is spot on, and brings much needed levity to what are usually more and more concerning actions by this administration. It’s really telling that there’s a group who fully supports this administration’s sophomoric and ignorant dealings with those who disagree with Trump but who get offended whenever jest is thrown his way. The bullies are wimps. Keep up the good work. [earlier comment - The show usually has a great lineup, but MBD r... more

  • God bless Jim

It’s mostly a circlejerk, but every now and then one of them shows the bravery to buck the party line and stand on principle. Jim’s willingness to treat Renee Good as a human being instead of an inconvenience and actually acknowledge the truth of the situation, as uncomfortable as it made his cohosts, gave me hope for humanity.

Episode 824: Shutdown Wind Down
Q: So exit question to you, Audrey Falberg, Chuck Schumer, will he get elected to yet another term as New York Senator, yes or no?
I don't think so. There's this intra-party battle over generational change, and if AOC announces a challenge against him, I think he couldn't take the humiliation.

There's uncertainty as both parties face voter dissatisfaction, which could potentially lead to unexpected results in elections.
Episode 822: Poll Watching

The polls suggest that while Donald Trump's approval is sagging, Democrats are also struggling with their image and approval ratings in general.
Episode 823: Election Disappointments
Q: So Jim Geraghty, let's start with you. Not a great election outcome for Republicans, Tuesday night...
Jim analyses the disappointing election results for Republicans, citing poor candidates and an ineffective campaign strategy.

Q: Are all politicians held to the same standard when it comes to legal consequences?
It's apparent that political motivations play a significant role in prosecutions, as different standards seem to apply depending on who is involved.
