The Frog & Cheetah is a Brokenwood Mysteries podcast in which hosts Rebecca and Amelia provide a detailed analysis and commentary on the latest goings on in New Zealand's most crime-loving country town: who's been blopped, who's been thwacked, who's drowned in wine and who's been administered a big old dose of a substance that's been banned since 2008.

I can’t get enough of this. Top insights and funny to listen to <3
Can’t say enough how great this podcast is. It’s filled with hilarious, down-to-earth commentary about Brokenwood from a distinctly low-key kiwi perspective. And underlying all of it is the story of two friends separated by the pandemic, who presumably created this podcast to pass the time.
I wish they’d stuck with it! By far the best Brokenwood fan content I’ve seen.
I love The Brokenwood Mysteries - have watched every episode at least twice - and only just discovered this podcast. OMG it's hilarious! The two hosts are awesome - insightful and very funny - and I've had so much fun listening to their interaction and analysis. PLEASE make more epsiodes <3
I am having a lovely time listening to this series. Amelia and Rebecca are obviously enjoying themselves a lot and that absolutely sells a show for me. I’ve been an international Brokenwood fan for years at this point, and was really glad to find this review/discussion podcast. I love that the hosts are from New Zealand, so bring a bit of context that I have missed.
Thank you to Amelia and Rebecca for putting this out. It is appreciated!
It’s such fun to watch the programme, then listen to the podcast, and then watch the programme again and wallow in those intensely problematic moments identified, with affection, by Amelia and Rebecca. They hardly miss a thing and it’s immensely satisfying when even a few of their conclusions match mine. I do wonder if they’ve noticed yet that Jared always seems to be done up like a Billy Doll, with big boots, colourful clothing and the rest.
These cats have the smoothest chit chat known to man. Doowop!
Amazing!!
It's good!
