Using her own eerie prose as a foundation, writer Linda Wojtowick collaborated with fellow author Soren Narnia on this experimental lo-fi blend of conversation and fiction. In the first volume (2020-2022, 25 episodes), they play paranormal researchers calling back and forth from the road to report on mysterious phenomena. This show can be frustratingly abstract. Even if it’s a creepy fiction, I’d prefer more linear stories, with less out-of-context poetry or conspicuously used wording and slow/rambling which doesn’t flow naturally, especially from the female voice actor. Her voice and script can be annoying. Knifepoint Horror is more linear and uses the slow-burn creep factor more effectively. Sometime the story is confusing and jumps around. It’s possible to listen to episodes and not actually know what some of ... more
I don’t even know what to title this to capture this review. I’ve listened to this podcast in completion no less than 5 times. The way Linda writes and builds these slow burning, bizarrely calming and sinister plot lines…the absolute unparalleled chemistry of Linda and Soren- I have zero notes. This is a top 5 podcast.
Just listened to the last episode of volume two, and still can’t get over the brilliance of the writing and acting. Nothing happens, but everything happens.
That something so profound can come from a couple of misfits bumbling around looking for a book shop no one remembers just beggars belief. I will be listening to this again and again.
The story is great, but Wojtowick's voice acting is awful. The laid back Cali thing becomes grating and hard to listen to. Regretful, because I was loving the story.
This woman’s voice is so painful to listen to that I’m contemplating stepping into the path of oncoming traffic! Thus becoming the Ghost in this Road!

The podcast combines eerie prose with immersive storytelling, featuring a blend of conversation and fiction that weaves together themes of the supernatural, memory, and fear.
