I really enjoyed the first season. The 2nd season I have lost all interest but I’ll finish it. I’m really annoyed with the ads tho…too many ads it makes me want to just not listen at all.
The postcast and hosts are great but the amount of ads make it completely unbearable to listen to.
So insightful! So much courage displayed by the victims and their dedication to share their stories.
Excellent reporting and as always, totally horrifying to once again learn about the predatory and systematic rape, murder, and abuse of authority in poor, black and disadvantaged communities. As a white women, I’m just like, once again, speechless. I understand that’s not the point, but you get me. Heightens my awareness, opens my mind and humbles me: sending strength and respect to all these brave men, women and families.
Meh. Poor pronunciation and frankly a bit ghetto.

Key themes include bravery, sisterhood, and the fight against victimization and injustice, often spotlighting individual stories of trauma and resilience in the face of systemic abuse. This sharp exploration of corruption within the police force is particularly poignant, as it not only recounts personal tragedies but also challenges broader societal issues surrounding violence and oppression against women of color.
