我們常以為「更新」代表問題全都消失，但很多時候，就是那些一直存在的問題，讓我們開始用錯誤的眼光在看自己。
有時候，我們在禱告中一直談自己的軟弱，談著談著，反而越來越沮喪。但其實在禱告中，更重要的是讓我們聽神對我們說什麼！福音，並不是讓軟弱的人變成剛強的人，其實是「我既軟弱也剛強，但因著神的恩典就夠了！」
透過這篇講道，讓我們不再用「軟弱」來定義自己！

當你被生活追著跑、忙到快喘不過氣，卻聽到一句有點事不關己的「別擔心」，是不是很想翻白眼？你不是愛擔心，是這些事真的很重要。問題還在，壓力也沒被接住，眼前的「需要」依然等著被處理。比起一句輕鬆帶過的安慰，我們更想被理解、被在乎。

每次到新的一年，我們總會期待：「今年一定要比去年更好！」但在這個期待背後，面對未知的未來，我們總習慣靠意志力硬撐，或是只求神幫忙「修補」人生的破洞。其實耶穌不會只做修補工作，祂會直接給你一個全新的生命！
如果你期待神給你新的恩典，那你預備好「新皮袋」了嗎？是否保持足夠的彈性讓神擴張你？聖經說仰望神的人必「重新得力」，這其實是在說：神要跟你「交換」力量！這就像是你正開著一輛破舊的老爺車，神不只是幫你保養維修，祂會直接開一臺跑車到你面前跟你交換，這就是重新得力的畫面！
