Hello! This is a really good podcast. Thank you. I just have to comment on your episodes with Kane. As a mum with a son who has special needs (Down syndrome and Autism) I just need to stress how things are phrased is important. He’s not ‘a special needs kid’ his special needs don’t identify him. He doesn’t like being labelled this way. He is an individual who has special needs. They are kids first. May not seem important but it is to them.
Lindsey guides the conversation to some interesting places and I almost felt like I could join in. I’m looking forward to hearing how the podcast develops.
