I follow some other hoops podcasts but Jason’s podcast has become my favourite because of the detailed breakdown I enjoy as being a competitive player myself.
Maybe a bit intense for some casual listeners, but hardcore hoopers will love this show.
This show isn’t for fans of hot take machines nor stat nerds. Jason knows basketball but he presents his vast knowledge in a way that’s relatable and engaging.
Jason is a pretty great analyst with good insights (when his LeBron fandom doesn’t take over). But the amount of ads per episode is pretty unbearable. And also I think the episodes are put out, and then split up into smaller fragments to be put out again later, which works on youtube but not in podcasts(reeks of greed in this platform imo). Also it’s normally like a day or 2 behind the youtube uploads, which is where I normally watch the show and recommend that over this podcast. I’m unfollowing... more
