Most content enjoyable, although FKTs, Barkley Marathon, elite performers seem over-represented.

  • Show turning to AI slop

I mostly enjoyed this show until I found out a huge segment of it is AI hosted telling AI generated stories. Doc is investing in, and experimenting with, an AI him, AI guests, AI hosts and AI generated trail tales. And is not up front about what is real and what isn’t. He lost all my respect. Especially as a creative who is greatly affected by this technology it feels like a slap in the face. He is not true hiker trash.
