Really fun podcast. Tons of Taylor Swift tidbits and wonderful storytelling and role playing from all the players. Lindsay does such a great job explaining mechanics without bogging things down. Easy five stars!
This is such a fun podcast to listen to, and I’m really looking forward to the next episode. I’m a very casual D&D player, but the hosts make it really easy to follow what’s happening. I think Swifties and non-Swifties alike would find this fun to listen to.
There are a lot of 5e D&D actual play podcasts out there, so it is a treat when one comes along that:
- is well-produced out of the box while still capturing the vibe of a good home game
- carries a unique hook (not being the biggest Swiftie on the block, I’m curious to see where it takes us)
- is led by a DM who casually and unobtrusively brings along the newbies with clear notes on the gameplay when called for, in a way that this forty-year veteran player scarcely noticed? Like butter.
