I love how this podcast used people and stories outside of the normal people you hear about in church to teach about biblical principals.
The Lion and the Bear is a great podcast and quickly became a favorite. Drake does a fantastic job finding interesting topics to explore and people to interview, and he combines great storytelling with excellent interview skills to keep you engaged from start to finish. What I really enjoy is the balance of spiritual insights, meaningful stories, and thoughtful conversations with people he interviews. This podcast is meeting a need!!!! Love the different types of podcast included by Drake. My son and I listen to a lot of the stories together. Very well done. The people interviewed have been inspiring. I’d recommend starting with the interview with Jimmy if you haven’t given them a try yet.
Thank you. Thank you for telling his story. My friends and I read Alfred Lansing’s book “Endurance: Shackleton’s Incredible Voyage” some 20 years ago. We coined the phrase “Shack up!” because of it. This podcast could have been hours long detailing his, and his crew’s, amazing will and determination for survival. Keep up the good work.
