Jeff does a great job researching older and newer Christmas and holiday season traditions from around the world. This podcast is where I first learned of Rauhnacht and the Yule Goat, among other winter solstice -related traditions not so well known in the US.

This podcast is like the chronicled history of Christmas, and even non-Christmas, with all of its colorful fables, lore and legends. It can be complicated, head-scratching, and bizarre, but it is always fascinating. You can’t turn it off, nor do you want to! I am always eagerly waiting for the next cool global Christmas character, who probably deserves his or her own feature film or series!
This podcast is really informative, and the topics are ones that you dont hear on other podcasts. A great listen, and worth clicking subscribe!
