This was difficult to listen to so I stopped after about 2 episodes. Some of the content was interesting however it was extremely insensitive how focused the story was on the media and the journalists getting the scoop. The Mushroom Case Daily by the ABC is far better.
This podcast shows no empathy at all for anyone other than the media. The presenters also desperately need some training in oration - the presentation is so flat and unemotional and the details included are boring (honestly, I don’t care if someone had a tissue in their hand or took a sip of water - ridiculous)
The content seemed ok but the lead narrator had such and exaggerated TikTok croak that anything more than 10 minutes was unbearable so quickly removed
The nasal voice that many have complained about is from the one with the unsightly and obscenely large, hooked nose. You’d think she’d get surgery to rectify it. No wonder she’s in print media and podcasting.
Anyway, worst podcast about the case out of them all. Don’t bother.
Thoroughly enjoyed this podcast. Slightly addictive. Really well put together and presented. Thank you .
I avoided the mushroom section of the supermarket today due to the thought of the poisonous meal.
Ian Wilkinsons statement post sentencing was so thoughtful. Wish him and his family all the very best after such a tragic ordeal.
