  • Great to sleep to

I honestly don’t care pretty much at all about pens, but that makes this podcast perfect to fall asleep to. They have a massive back catalogue and their banter is a perfect balance between lightly funny but nothing too crazy, important, or exciting.

  • Real Talk

Long time listener, first time reviewer. I very seldomly leave reviews, but wanted to thank you both for your transparency and vulnerability on ep. 640. The world needs more of this, especially from men. I have so many other thoughts on the topic (I’ve typed and deleted half a dozen already) but suffice it to say, thanks for letting us in. Love you guys.

Choose a notebook that interests you and set a goal to fill it without worrying too much about what you put in it.
681: A Great, Great Pen… Well, I Don’t Have It Yet
Q: How should I clean my Lamy Pico that has leaked ink?
Soak it in warm soapy water using dish soap that breaks down oils. Engage the retracting mechanism while submerged to help clean.
681: A Great, Great Pen… Well, I Don’t Have It Yet
Q: Is it a bad idea for my first pen show? Will I find it difficult as primarily an English speaker?
You should definitely go to the Tokyo Pen Show even if you're concerned about language barriers. You'll likely find that many vendors and attendees will speak English and you'll have a great experience.
678: Where Forth How You Been?
Q: What should be my approach for my first pen show?
Prepare by making a list of vendors and products you want to see, such as Tactile Turn and Retro 51. Make sure to explore and test products to see how they feel in your hand.
676: A Giant Sized Pen Show
Q: Is the Thursday trader day worth me spending time at other than picking up my paperwork?
It is not. I would just spend Thursday taking it all in, getting your paperwork, finding your table, setting up any small things you want to set up.
