Matt is a thoughtful and funny interviewer who really does bring out the best in all his interviewees. As Tom Tugendhat says in a recent episode, Matt isn’t trying to get to a ‘gotcha moment’. Instead, we discover something about the people behind the politics, with a bit of a laugh along the way.
Highly recommended!

I have always been a fan of Matt’s and I guess I always will be. His comedy, quick thinking and niche references are right up my street. My political views and his would not align. Sometimes I think about skipping episodes because I’m not keen on the politician or an hour+ seems like a big commitment, but I never regret listening. Matt is able to get very relaxed interviews out of big political heavyweights. A must for anyone interested in UK politics. (But please sort out the sound! It’s been muffled for years.)
