  • All one thing. Why?

I have to ask these podcast/new media folks, why is every show now all one thing?

Its either all ex-pros, and it just becomes a testosterone fest with a bunch of inside jokes and jock backslapping…or, its a bunch of nerds one-upping each other’s advanced analytics while watching these games from their couch…or, its all journos who actually have access and can synthesize insight but just end up sitting around for an hour giving off the record takes with the imprimatur of second-hand authority. ... more

  • Mr “I got this” is gone

First they upgraded from Seerat and brought in Wos. He was less annoying but was still a very NYC “I got this” kinda guy who, after missing 5 shots in a row would insist that he was going to take the game winner, only to clang it hard off the front rim.

Happy to have him replaced with J. Kyle Mann who at least seems to bring some knowledge and not just attitude to the podcast.
