I used to love the show before the new format. Every episode feels very surface level, and I miss the dynamic of Sheil, Steven, and Diante, as the show the analysis was much more in depth and interesting. Used to be a good listen with an established cast. Now it’s a mess, the football discussion has been dumbed down massively and the host cannot carry the show coherently.
Sheik does a good job like always but compared to the previous dynamic and set up of the show this is such a letdown. No going over the game previewing a select group only of things, it’s just such a disappointment went from my favorite weekly listen to just something I have no interest in. Truly miss the group dynamic of going over the games and what’s to come. Sad.
I loved the previous group dynamic of this show. Each year the crew was a little different but the product was always enjoyable. I know Sheil is doing his best but he’s being setup to to fail compared to previous years.
Sheil’s a fine PG, but I miss the 3-on-3 games he used to run. I miss the deep dives and longer recap and preview pods badly.
