  • Hockey talk is good

Their talk on hockey is entertaining enough. But my god Steve Dangle might be the dumbest guy on the planet when he talks about anything other than hockey. His political and economic takes are so ignorant and he talks like he has understanding on the subject. It’s so brazen that it throws off what would be a top tier hockey podcast.

  • Disappointed Fan

I really enjoy the podcast, but I think adding a VIP section and charging for content isn’t necessary. I follow much bigger and more popular podcasts, and none of them charge. Moves like this can push fans away. I understand you’re trying to recoup costs from expanding too quickly, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of your listeners.

  • Please read up more on the NCAA NIL situation

I love the show, but as there is more and more discussion of how NIL works in the NCAA I beg you guys to please get some good info on how it works. It’s painful to listen to speculation about things will work when all of that information is out publicly with years of examples from college football and basketball.

Trotz Thoughtz | November 24, 2025
Q: Who were your favorite players growing up as a Toronto Maple Leafs fan?
Mats Sundin was my favorite player, and my brother was a fan of Gary Roberts. I wore number 13 in junior hockey because of Mats Sundin.
Trotz Thoughtz | November 24, 2025
Q: What is the mental grind of an NHL season?
It's a tough grind where every day feels like you're earning your job. The pressure of maintaining performance with a demanding schedule can be stressful, but it also keeps you excited to play hard.
Trotz Thoughtz | November 24, 2025
Q: How did you get involved with Movember and why is it important to you?
I initially started in junior hockey, learning about Movember. It struck a chord with me through a mental health training course I attended. It showed me the importance of discussing feelings, especially for men, and that connects to my involvement with Movember.
Live from BOND|ST with Oshawa Generals Simon Wang & Sam Roberts | November 23, 2025
Q: When did you first step in?
I bet I was eight years old, probably lifting weights.
Live from BOND|ST with Oshawa Generals Simon Wang & Sam Roberts | November 23, 2025
Q: What kind of player do you want to be?
Probably be in a hard nosed power forward with some good skill, and I want to score some goals.
