I absolutely love this podcast. The stories are so interesting and well researched. The Curse of Winthrop Falls is something I listen to every year now around Halloween to get me into the spirit of the season. Keep up the great work!
I enjoy this podcast so much. Idk why everyone is hating on you so much, keep up the good work!
This podcast is outstanding! Incredibly well researched, written, and produced 🖤 a lot of complaints about her voice- but I think her voice works very well with the subject matter and is delightfully unique. Yea she mispronounces some things, but have y’all ever heard a podcast? They all do! IMO- it’s worth a good listen because it’s so well done, the research show a lot of care, and the writing isn’t lazy and repetitive like some of the bigger podcasts. Give her her flowers now 🥀🥀🥀
I want to like this podcast SO BAD. The stories could be amazing but the host’s voice sounds like she’s trying too hard to sound “grimoire” and she ends up just sounding like a grimmed-out version of vocal fry. I am embarrassed for her. It’s annoying to try to follow the story. And if she’s using AI for vocals? 🤬…as a lifelong writer and creative myself, that’s unforgivable. Just tell us a story in your own voice, and I’ll raise my rating.

She reads like a robot, haulting and unnatural. Almost like she is reading from a teleprompter and she has caught up to the end of the prompt and has to wait for more words to populate on the screen.
It is also written like she is from the 1800’s or something, and furthermore as though she is not a native English spe... more
