  • Really one sided

Guilty guilty, or maybe not..?? Shameful media reporting. Funny how the tone changes now new evidence comes to light..

  • Shockingly biased

Liz clearly wanted Lucy to be guilty. Unwilling to keep an open mind or look past there confirmation bias. Same with the Welsh bloke, who was ecstatic when she was convicted - this is deeply worrying in itself!

  • Excellent Insight

Excellent insight. Liz is brilliant. Ballsy and asks all the right and difficult questions.

There is question of her impartiality, does that need to be questioned when they are discussing someone who has been found guilty anyway?!

  • Biased Beyond Reasonable Doubt

Unbelievably unprofessional. Liz Hull is very irritating and so biased. This could be so good if she was so closed minded. Poor journalism.

  • Problematic

I listened to every episode released during the trial. I felt, at the time, it was excellent. I understand the hosts are now in the difficult position of being forced to confront the possibility it (and the subsequent inquiry) might have all been a gigantic waste of time, and the judicial system that they’re (rightly) committed to reporting responsibly and fairly is disturbingly flawed. I too found it hard to come to terms with. But it is not simply not credible to dismiss world-leading experts ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Conviction
Q: What did Danny Bogado aim to achieve with this documentary?
He aimed to present both sides of the argument regarding Lucy Letby's case, allowing viewers to form their own opinions instead of taking a side.
Conviction
Q: What was the reaction to the premiere of the documentary?
It was largely positive, with many attendees from the documentary's crew, while public audience reactions showed uncertainty about the case.
"The Game of Law”
Q: So what do you think about the way that Mark McDonald, Letby's new barrister, has gone about trying to get her free?
Dr. Hull believes the strategy is to generate publicity to pressure the CCRC into referring the case back to the appeal court, but he acknowledges that it is a high-risk approach.
"The Game of Law”
Q: Are you willing to talk to us about that at all, why you think you weren't called?
Dr. Hull speculates that he might not have been called because he could have provided evidence that was supportive of the prosecution, which could have created a domino effect in the trial's outcome.
30: The Inquiry: Over to the CCRC
Q: Why did you hand deliver the documents to the CCRC?
McDonald suggests that it was necessary to highlight the evidence rather than just going through standard procedures, defending against accusations of staging a publicity stunt.
