Birth trauma is something that’s hard to hear about and even harder to talk about, but it’s such an integral part of healing. Cathy has created a space that leaves room for everyone to be able to share the happy and sad moments. The darkness and the light. It’s absolutely incredible and needed.
Cathy has created such a special place for people to come and listen or share their story. What’s also great about this podcast is that it’s about perinatal trauma- any trauma that has happened surrounding pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Cathy is warm and welcoming and it’s very easy to open up to her. The stories are very compelling and evoke great emotion.
There is such a need for creating an environment for others to share their birth trauma and what it was like for them. Cathy does such an amazing job at this and also provides us with insight on how we can begin to heal from our own trauma.
