I really enjoy this one, usually listening on dog walks :) The conversational mode with humor and finding out about how people started out writing, some about who they are as people, and their experiences writing everything from mystery to sports romance to time travel, is fun to listen to! The hosts have a great free flow interaction with authors and it’s just really enjoyable and never boring. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this podcast. A couple of writers interviewing an eclectic collection of people…
It turns out that these ‘casts are really interesting. The conversations are really fun to listen to. Nick and Douglas ask the questions I would and dog in to the conversations I’d dig into.
As well as getting a different take on the field covered so far, I’ve learned something from every ‘cast. Not that there episodes are erudite; they’re just interesting.
