The host uptalks every single sentence. Which negatively affects the storytelling. I think a speech coach would be helpful.
I’m really impressed by the focus on the stories of these victims. You get to know who they are. I think this is something woefully missing from true crime. I also love the interviews with families and investigators. It’s a really great example of true crime coverage done properly. It also makes you realize real gaps in law enforcement training and resources in small towns as well as the dangers of not funding mental health resources.
