Hell yeah
This is a dangerous podcast. Since I've started listening, I started collecting RPGs, especially older books, and now I've spent too much money...
A great podcast. Stu is a font of knowledge, and his earnest enjoyment of the subject makes me interested even in games that otherwise I wouldn't look twice at. Hambone can occasionally come across as a bit of a used car salesman, but he brings enthusiasm to the table.
Have been listening for about 2-2.5 years now, and I have to say Stu and Hambone have done some great work dissecting, invoking, and interviewing so many classic and obscure games and their creative teams. I have actually bought a few things after listening to them talk about them. Heck I love the fiction book reviews they give and have some of those too. I will vouch for this podcast every time. So give a listen and enjoy!
F you want to learn about and dive into the TTRPG scene, this is the show to help you.
This is a really mixed bag, one of the hosts is a knowledgeable guy while the co-host Hambone is just spouting misremembered facts and tortured analogies to Metal and Punk music.
All in all good enough to consume.
