The White Lotus is an absolutely exquisite at creation. So inspiring and makes me want to write & compose. (Warning – there are a few little spoilers that pop up.. therefore I decided to finish the whole three seasons before diving into the pod )
I love The White Lotus and have enjoyed listening to the first few episodes of this podcast. I can live with the mention of politics in the show but would prefer not to. But for these Hosts to think the audience is interested in their political opinions… No. I’m sure I’m not alone in that thought.
The hosts tend to alternate calling the characters by the actor’s name. This is so confusing! I know I can google the actor or character name to know who’s who, but that’s the best way to accidentally see spoilers! I otherwise like listening after each show for the perspective of the hosts. I realize I miss a few things in each episode!
I have already enjoyed Season 3 & it’s fabulous podcast. So that prompted me to watch & listen to Season 1 show & podcast. Sadly, in the Season 1 podcast, the host tells me multiple plot twists in post # 2 that happen further along in the show & spoils the ending of the show in Episode 2! What a disappointment 😕 I won’t be listening to the ret of these podcasts.
While I did enjoy moments of this podcast, I felt like the focus was way too much on homosexuality. Sure it’s a theme but I feel like it does the show a disservice acting like that’s one of the main aspects. I would have liked to have them actually talk about each episode and the events that happen and deep dive into the characters. Very little of that was on display. Kinda disappointed.
