It’s called clipless because back before you kids were born we rode with these things called toe clips that held our feet on the pedals (see Sean Kelly). When look invented their pedal system voila- we could ride… clipless!
Love the podcast. It’s always a good listen and motivates me (despite some of Jimmy’s best efforts) to just enjoy getting out. Though hearing Francis’ advice on medial issues from episode 102 whilst recovering from a broken elbow after coming off my bike - definitely get medically checked out!
Feels like they’re running out of ideas and the topics discussed are often recycled. I used to love listening to the whole thing, but now there’s just too much filler and meandering chat.
Like Rapha. I can only enjoy those company get bankrupt. Those “premium” brands thinking we are going to spent $$$ of some pair of bibs. I commute 40km every day the whole year so I am allowed to spent that. But hey that $$$ bib is only when the wind comes from the left, but from the right you need another one of $$$ and so on. While not being that double quality with the double price. Just ripp off companies. Do not like the podcast of not being subjective necause of the sponsering…GARMIN RULES... more
