In grief you need to be seen. Mason does a wonderful job letting his guests tell their stories and feelings without judgement. I lost my husband…. This podcast is so relatable …. We are all going through something. Keep up the great work. You are helping so many of us.
Grief can come from so many different kinds of things. Anyone trying to survive can listen to this, and it will be like oxygen. You will feel better, and like you can keep going one more day, EVERY time you listen. When I get a notification that a new episode is up, I get excited. I know relief is here.
He doesn’t rush people. Doesn’t tie things up. He lets them speak from inside the mess, and he doesn’t clean it up for the audience. That’s rare. There’s something steady in his voice—like someone who’s actually lived what he’s asking about. It’s not about performance. It’s not about healing timelines. It’s just about being honest. Some episodes leave me wrecked. Some leave me strangely comforted.
All of them feel real.
This podcast is inspiring, comforting, vulnerable and brave. I admire the host and his guests. If anything, I cringe occasionally when the host talks over his guests, asks them a question and then proceeds to answer it himself and regularly goes off track. I often wish he’d just listen a little more and get out of his own way. Otherwise a very good and important podcast.
Tragically heart breaking and totally awe inspiring all in one episode. Masons ability to be authentic and honest is true testament to his kind soul and desire to heal and help. Thank you Mason and Ryan far showing up week after week.
