  • What is up with Thoughtful Money? Ads interrupt the podcast every few minutes. It's out of control! I think that even paid subscribers are subject to these ads. That's inexcusable.

  • Very bearish

This is a extremely bearish podcast. If you followed their advice carefully you’d be short the market and broke. But, it is good to get different viewpoints and a good reminder to not overextend yourself, be ready for disaster.

  • Low volume

The podcast is very hard to hear if there is any outside noise. Then a commercial come or you switch to another podcast and it blows your ears out.

Yesterday's Winning Stocks Becoming Tomorrow's Losers? And Vice-Versa? | Chance Finucane
Q: What sectors do you feel present opportunities right now?
We've been accumulating energy positions in both the high income strategy and our long-term growth stock strategy, specifically looking within oil field services.
Yesterday's Winning Stocks Becoming Tomorrow's Losers? And Vice-Versa? | Chance Finucane
Q: What do you see as the future for precious metals like gold and silver?
We think that we're still bullish on precious metals for the next five years, but prices need to calm down after the recent volatility before we increase our exposure again.
Yesterday's Winning Stocks Becoming Tomorrow's Losers? And Vice-Versa? | Chance Finucane
Q: What is your current assessment of the financial markets right now?
We think the market cap indices such as the S&P 500 look expensive to us, especially given the concentration in seven or ten big stocks that I'm sure we'll get into.
"Nasty" Surprise In Store For Stocks As Credit Markets & Dollar Weaken? | Jesse Felder
Q: Do you see the precious metals hitting new highs in the future?
Yes, it's not surprising to eventually see the Dow Jones Industrial Average and gold at parity again after their current levels of disparity.
"Nasty" Surprise In Store For Stocks As Credit Markets & Dollar Weaken? | Jesse Felder
Q: What should investors consider playing this year given the mixed messages?
Investors should consider a barbell position, being bullish on hard assets like energy while being bearish on the overall stock market as inflation could surprise to the upside and earnings disappoint to the downside.
