David Paul Brooks: From Church to Charts
Q: So, when that came to an end, and then you became a solo artist once again, what were some of the differences that you noticed right away?
It was hard because you're used to people with you. Like I didn't want to be by myself. Like this don't feel right being by myself trying to hold it down.
Tasman Archer's Musical Journey
Q: What's next on the agenda after your upcoming album?
We'll be pushing the profile for that and considering releasing an EP next with a different flavor.
Tasman Archer's Musical Journey
Q: What are some feelings you learned from your time with a major label that can help you today?
I learned that confidence comes from knowing you can do it on your own, and that the marketing side requires more effort as an independent.
Tasman Archer's Musical Journey
Q: How did it feel getting back into the studio to record your own material again?
I felt like a newborn again in the studio, experiencing some microphone fear but ultimately channeling my creativity.
Tasman Archer's Musical Journey
Q: What was the fuel that ignited the flame to get started again?
During the pandemic, we reflected on the music we had accumulated and decided to finish some tracks to satisfy our muse without pressure.
