This woman grates every fibre in my body.

Her new jingles are too loud and messy, almost un-EQ’d and has completely ruined the structure that mark night built over the last 700 episodes. This woman should not be given a mic let alone her own self righteous show bigging herself up like she owns the podcast. There is nothing humble about her or her jingles. I actively pass her shows as soon as I hear her skouce-accent. Only issue with that is eventually you end up with nothing but her annoying s... more

  • Where the old Toolroom?

Used to be a must listen every week, but I guess tastes change. If you’re a fan of commercial pop style house you’re in luck. If you know where the underground, uncompromising club sound is now let me know

  • So-so

It has a mix of good tunes and some which I don’t like but I think the point is to showcase a wide spectrum. Annoying little toolroom PR statements though such as “we’ve got your back” and “the worlds’ leading record label” which of course they’re not (big in dance but not the biggest, and of course nowhere near the size of the major labels) make it annoying at times to listen to and more of a promotional exercise for the label.
