I’m fairly new to this podcast but I love listening to yall. Your voices, your vibes, how sweet yall are to each other just costs the true crime in a way that is so palatable I come back for more! Stop scrolling and listen :)
I just finished listening to the most recent episode of this podcast (#218) and I’m sorry- but to cough three times in an ad and repeat what you’re saying twice due to voice issues is pretty sloppy. I had to re-listen to make sure that’s what I had actually heard. Also, the notes contained a lot of errors. The female’s voice is annoying- very droning and with a thick NY(?) accent that made it difficult to listen.
If you’re looking for a podcast that covers lesser known cases, is well researched and delivered and done so without all the small talk. This is the one for you.
The amount of research that goes in to each episode is outstanding. The stories are told brilliantly and at a nice pace. I don’t ever find myself getting lost and having to rewind.
The stories are told by Kay, to her husband John who has never heard it before, and has no prior description of the episode. I’ve seen people moan that J... more
I listen whenever I can. I also wanted to tell you that I take Oscilloccinum and elderberry when it’s cold & flu season. Keeps these viruses away: I also make a cough syrup of red onion & honey. Takes the cough away. My grandsons that went to daycare caught viruses until the age of 4. Every child is different. Sounds like you two are great parents.
Arguably my favorite true crime podcast. Their presentation and interaction are good, but not remarkable. What really is their strength is their deep dives in cases, and scripting these cases in a narrative form that is compelling and interesting.
