  • The Only Sports Podcast I Need

Once I became a fan of the LeBatard Show, sports talk was ruined for me. Everything became droning and repetetive. Now I can only enjoy sports talk that's mostly wrapped within layers of hijinks and non-sports talk (see: Katie Nolan). But DPalm came along and he does such an amazing breakdown of sports that I don't mind our differences. I like college basketball more than NBA ball. I like NFL way more than college ball. I friggin love baseball! But it doesn't matter. His analysis, wittin... more

  • Susan, DPalm’s father and DPalm are the best trio in the podcasting industry

Seriously, DPalm does a great job reviewing the prior week’s sporting news. He gives unfiltered and valid opinions on current topics that will make you think. If you are looking for sport information from archery to Yoga, UDPod is your podcast. Is there a sport that starts with ‘Z’?

Thanks Susan for allowing DPalm to host while you are on sabbatical!!!

  • You Know...This Isn't Even Fun...

I was going to write this just to hear you say things like:

    How'd you like that asswhipping?

    or

You fired Mark Richt for this?

    or

Batman v. Superman is a comic masterpiece

But I'm sure you going to do all of that on your own, so I won't be a jerk.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Felder Friday - Breakfast Privilege, Tush Push Discourse and NBA Conference Finals
Q: How was career day?
Career day was fantastic, I had two career days in the same weekend and was able to show the kids camera and lights, but didn't get to execute my full game plan.
Felder Friday - Sad in State College, Dynasty Talk in Gainesville, and UNC is in Hell
Q: What's your reaction to the reporting at WRAL?
It's the same stuff I've been hearing, and it's reflective of the players' dissatisfaction with the current program's culture.
Felder Friday - Football Nerds, Penn State's Identity Crisis and UNC's Meltdown Continues
Q: Is this stoking competitive fire in you or is it becoming an annoyance?
Honestly, it's a bit of both; while it's competitive, the public exposure of fundraising successes and failures raises significant privacy concerns.
Felder Friday - Football Nerds, Penn State's Identity Crisis and UNC's Meltdown Continues
Q: What was your immediate reaction to the firing? Do you think it is a Penn State issue or a larger harbinger for what's the common college football?
It's indicative of larger issues in college football, reflecting a tumultuous relationship between expectations and reality for programs like Penn State.
Cam Hawkins is Back, Texas is NOT, and The Washington Commies
Q: What makes the Washington franchise feel more competent now?
They seem to be more locked in, with young players making the right decisions and not getting in their own way.
